Anthony Sudlow's Obituary
Anthony Delroy Sudlow affectionately known to some as “Tishon” was born on August 4, 1960 to the late Iceylyn Simpson and Stanley Sudlow in Kingston, Jamaica. Anthony completed his schooling at Trench Town Primary School and then Trench Town Comprehensive High School in Jamaica. He worked as a teacher at Trench Town High School until he migrated to the United States in 1984. Anthony was truly a lover. He lived his life with a heart full of love and gratitude until the very end. He took pride in caring for those he loved, but he would also give without hesitation to those in need that he didn't know. He was a caretaker by nature who often took care of the elderly around him. Anthony could always be counted on to bring a smile to everyone‘s face. He was a charismatic jokester at heart and he always made you feel lighter when you were going through hard times. On Thursday, July 13, 2023, after a battle with throat cancer he was called home to the Lord. Throughout his journey Anthony always had a positive outlook on life. He didn't allow cancer to steal his joy. He could often be heard joking with the nurses and doctors while giving them that million dollar smile that we all know and love. Anthony was an active member of People Baptist Church in Boston and he also attended St. Joseph Wesleyan Methodist Church while living in Florida. Even in his last days he was online for church service and bible study every week. There is no doubt in our hearts that he is with the Lord. His legacy will live on through his children: Anthony, Dayne,
Shari, Tristan, Shandel, Tishana, Imani, Tishon, Antonia, Ryan, Shyiann, Shanakay and Shereece. Anthony will always be loved and missed by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His siblings Ranford, Julia, Michael, Derrick, Dotlyn, Pamella and other siblings as well as several relatives, close family and friends
