Teddie was born in Bronx, NY and graduated from Kennedy High School in Paterson, NJ. He was a fun loving, light-hearted person. Like most native New Yorkers, he loved to dress to impress and always greeted you with a smile. Teddie had a certain charisma and charm about him that made him a joy to be around. His laugh was infectious and he was loved by all who knew him. He had a fond love of music, a great sense of humor and enjoyed dancing. Most of all, he was very proud of his baby girls Yolanda & Sara who are both college graduates.
Family was very important to him as he realized family is where he found the strength to persevere through many of life's challenges. Teddie gave his life to Christ at an early age and learned to lean and depend on God. His devoted friend Robert Parsons was more like a brother to Him and they were as thick as thieves.
He leaves to cherish his memory, His mother Eula Mann of NJ; two daughters, Yolanda C. Johnson (Ty) of NC and Sara Mann of NYC; one Granddaughter, Jadah L.
