A Journey Begins...

A Time to be Born
Sharon S Gregory-Murphy was born February 26, 1977 to Cheryl Gregory-Quinones in Newark, NJ. Sharon was a bubbling fat baby with a smile that lit up a room.
A Time to Grow- Sharon was reared with the support of her loving Mother, Grandmother and Grandfather and Church being at the top of the list.
She was a giver at an early age. She was always feeding the neighborhood children. Sharon went to finish school in the East Orange School district. In High School Sharon played the Sax in the East Orange High Marching Band, then graduated in June of 1995. In her yearbook she was appointed Most likely to succeed. She also attended the Child Development Associate where for 2 years she worked on her CDA where she completed the certificate portion. Sharon has received several awards and certificates: Certificate of Attendances, from Appelbaum Training Institute, most organized from Building Block in Montclair NJ. In the Spirit of Excellence, keeping children healthy, from programs of parents also awarded from building blocks and Award of dedication. The list goes on.
A Time To Love- Sharon married Kyle N. Murphy on August 28, 2008. Sharon has three beautiful children with whom she was a devoted mother to.
With that infectious smile she continued her life loving and caring for others. She went on her journey in life working with children which was her passion and desire in life. She worked at several different Day Care Centers in Irvington and Montclair, NJ. The last being Building Blocks where she was employed for over 13 years. Sharon's love for children earned the respect of parents even off the job to work with their children in their homes. Even having three children of her own, she always found time for other children. Sharon has lasting friendships that span over 30 years of friendship.
A Time to Worship- Seeking divine guidance, she joined and was Baptized at Divinity Missionary Baptist Church by Dr. Byron E. Lennon Sr.
A Time to Die- God saw the need to give his servant rest when he called her name Sharon Gregory-Murphy from labor unto reward on Monday morning, September 2, 2019 at Arbor Glenn in Cedar Grove, NJ.
A Time to Mourn- The light of beloved Sharon S. Gregory Murphy will always shine bright through her children precious Isaiah N. Murphy, Makiya N. Murphy and Skyye E. Sneed. Her husband Kyle N. Murphy, Mother Cheryl Quinones, Stepfather Robin Quinones, Annie Smith(Mama), Maria Basking-Walker, Regina Basking, Cynthia Basking (Sudan), Geraldine Gregory, Gregg Nasir James Gregory, Zakia Gregory-McKnight, Jason Gregory, Salyndria Gregory: Shanta, Latasha Keith (Man Man) Gregory, Tashera Webb adn Besties Rasheda McMurray and LaShonda Reed and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
