Shante Brown's Obituary
OBITUARY
Shante Nicole Brown (AKA Tay) was a native of Newark, NJ. She was
born on March 29 1988 to the parents of Denise Brown of Newark,NJ
and Jasper Callahan of Pennsylvania, PA. Shante transitioned on Monday
October the 28th at UMDNJ. Shante attended Newark public schools. Shante worked
at Walmart in Kearny, NJ as a cashier for 2 years. Shante loved singing, dancing, cooking
laughing and telling jokes with the family.
Shante loved watching movies and eating pickles with her god brother Calvin (Man).
Shante loved spending time with her children and family and she was loved by everyone.
Shante leaves to cherish her parents Denise Brown and Jasper Callahan. Two lovely children
Aaliyah Brown and Fatir Hoffman both of Newark, NJ. Her god grandmother Daisy McFolley of
Georgetown, GA. and god mother Audrey Dawson of Georgetown, GA . Two brothers, Ta'Shaan (Samirah) Brown, Anthony (Nairon) Callahan Sr.
both of Irvington, NJ.
8 aunts and 6 uncles and a host of nieces and nephews.
Three godbrothers, and 1 godsister.
Dear friend Terrance Wallace, Rasheedah Middleton, Shanice Hunts, Latasha Cureton and Ali
Mells. Her cousins, Donald (Peewee) Williams, Kyla Williams, Monique Brown, Tashira Melton.
Shante was preceded in death by her grandparents, Timothy A. Brown Sr., Beatrice Lawrence,
James and Ameila Callahan . One godbrother Randy Franklin and one god nephew, Calvin Scott Jr.
