Peggy Petiote, beloved daughter and youngest of her siblings was born on June 9, 1977, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ, to Christine Petiote and Jean Michel Ismael.
Peggy attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, both in Elizabeth, NJ. She was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and commitment to others. Peggy was a cherished member of her family and beloved by her friends.
Peggy's passion for living life to the fullest was evident in everything she did, leaving a positive impact on all who knew her.
Peggy defied the odds and achieved academic success despite facing numerous challenges. She never gave up on her dreams and later in life, she earned her Associates degree and soon after obtained her bachelor’s degree from Berkeley College. What makes her achievements even more remarkable is that she obtained her advanced degrees while battling cancer.
Peggy's determination and resilience have been evident throughout her life. She never let challenges stop her from pursuing her goals. Her strong and persistent spirit was evident in every pursuit. Her story serves as an inspiration to many, showing that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.
Peggy was also passionate about various hobbies and interests. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, fashion, music, dancing, and spending time with her family. Her positive attitude and zest for life were contagious.
Peggy’s memory will live on through all those who love her and the countless lives she touched. The community mourns the loss of a remarkable woman, but also celebrates her life and the inspiration she continues to be to others. She will be remembered for her selflessness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
