Kim Carter's Obituary
Kim Carter Spady was born in Newark New Jersey on December 28, 1961 to the late Ethel and Nathaniel Carter. She was their fourth child and the second daughter. Her home coming was on October 18, 2023.
Kim was raised in East Orange, New Jersey and attended East Orange High School, where she found her love for reading. A while after she moved to Newark began her adult life. She gave birth to her daughter Elyse Parker and soon after met her late husband Maurice Spady. They moved to Florida for a short time before returning to their roots.
Preceding her in death was her mother Ethel Carter, her father Nathaniel Carter, her older sister Denise Carter, her older brother Calvin Carter, and her husband Maurice Spady.
She leaves to cherish her legacy; her daughter Elyse Parker, son-in-law Charles Dorsey, sister Romona Armstrong, brother-in-law Jerry Armstrong, brother Nathaniel Carter Jr., and three granddaughters Kori, Kahmira, and Kaylee. As well as her nephews and nieces Cassandra, Maurice, Amir, Ibn, Quadir, Elijajuan, and Jamir. And loving friends.
