Keith Marlowe Christian's Obituary
Keith Marlowe Christian was born to the late, Marlowe Maxwell Christian and Emma Lou Christian (nee Morris) on February 27, 1961 in Fort Gordon, Georgia. On November 2, 2023 he was called home to rest.
Keith was educated in the Irvington Public School Systems. At the tender age of 18, Keith enlisted in the National Guards. During his three year tenure , he played the battalion and was in charge of roll call for 200 soldiers. After returning home from the military, Keith found gainful employment as a mechanic and as a janitor at the elite Peck School in Morris County. Until his untimely passing, Keith was employed with both Urban League and Family Promise. He had a special love for fixing things and would always lend a helping hand to his residents.
In 2002, Keith fell ill which led to his retirement. In spite of his illness, he still showed resilience and determination. He spent his later years eating, traveling, playing pranks on his mom, and spending time with his cat Tigger whom he loved the most. His passing has left a huge impact on his family. Keith will be sorely missed.
Keith leaves to cherish his memories his; Mom Emma Lou Christian; Brothers Gary, Anthony and Alkasani; one sister, Tanya; children, Jaquan, Shaheer, Miguel, Keith Jr., Rakim, Juan, Natalie, Luis, and Iris. Eleven grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins and friends. Keith is preceded in death by his father, Marlowe Maxwell Christian; Grandparents; Hugh and Mary Morris; Fred and Cora Christian; a son Levelle Mitchell - Christian
