Joseph Cornelius Monderoy's Obituary
Joseph Cornelius Monderoy was born December 2nd, 1982. He was the sixth child of Ann & Franklin Monderoy. At age 10, our family migrated to the U.S.A. where he attended schools in Montclair, N.J. He graduated from Montclair High School after which he went to Nashville Auto Diesel College. He graduated with a degree in Auto Body.
In 2005, Joseph began his career at United Airlines in Newark, NJ and was later transferred to Houston TX to be close to his kids. He was an amazing father and his love for his children Lily, Kelis, Hannah, Zoey and Aiden was everlasting.
Joe was a character that moved to the beat of his own drums, He was a father, son, brother, uncle, friend, brother-in-law and to his special people, a protector. He was baptized in Christian baptism and endeavored to live those Christian values. Words that describe Joe were kind, fun, outgoing, life of the party, open-minded but strong willed and always had a smile. He enjoyed his Trini culture, as well as sports and meeting new people. As a friend he was loyal, polite and found time to entertain or be there whenever they needed him. At times he could be very immature but that's just because he was still a child inside a young man's body.
One of our last talk together, he said "Sis I love you for real, and for your birthday next year I am going to plan a destination birthday for you" We laughed because his birthday was three days after mine and he knew it was going to be his birthday trip also.
I know my brother had flaws, he had lots of things undone and others, he never had a chance to start. Joe wanted a change and to be a better person, I believe he did. It is just that we never got to see that change in him. God picked him. God said this flower is fully bloomed and am ready for him.
Joseph Monderoy departed on December 9th 2023.
