Gary Jeffrey's Obituary
Gary was born July 27, 1975 to Morris and Daisy Jeffrey in Manhattan, New York. As a little boy, he attended The Mt. Pisgah School, Jersey City. Gary went on to St. Patrick;s Elementary School and graduated from St. Aloysius Grammar School, in Jersey City. Gary graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel in Newark, N.J. After high school, Gary went on to attend NJIT Newark, N.J.
At an early age Gary loved sports. Gary played baseball with Little League and played basketball in high school. Gary also took karate. Music was another passion of Gary's. He played musical instruments including the violin and the flute. Basketball was his favorite. In his free time Gary could be found at Madison Square Garden watching a knicks game. He also liked wrestling and loved attending car shows. He loved car racing.
Gary was a hardworking and driven young man. He worked at Allied Securities for several years. Gary most recently was employed at Liberty Science Center as a security guard.
Gary will be deeply missed and remembered by his loving mother Daisy and father, MOrris; Brothers, Maurice Huggins (Lynn), Jelani Jeffrey, Trahern Jeffrey and Lance Jeffrey; Aunts, Yvetta Gibson, Mozetta Witherspoon, and Clara Mae Johnson all of Charleston, S.C., Pearline Kirwan of Canada, Audrey Weston of Antigua, and Sirlean Pearson of Baltimore, MD; Uncles, Richard Gibson (Roberta) of Sumter, S.C. and Moses Gibson of Miami, Fla; Godmother, Norma Waithe; 3 Nephews and 2 Nieces and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
