Enai Lashawn Mims, age 16 passed away on May 18, 2026, in Pennsylvania. Born on September 7, 2009, in Newark, New Jersey. Enai brought love, laughter, and light into the lives of all who knew him.Enai was a junior at Light House Academy and dreamed of one day attending culinary school. He had a true passion for cooking, and his favorite dish to prepare was Rasta Pasta. Enai also enjoyed playing video games, especially Fortnite, and listening to music, with a special love for throwback 90’s classics.Known for his playful and cheerful personality, Enai had a way of drawing people to him and filling every room with warmth. He was deeply family oriented and cherished every moment spent with those he loved. Enai was naturally curious and talented with his hands, often taking things apart just to rebuild them again. His creativity, bright spirit, and loving heart will forever be remembered.Enai was preceded in death by his sister, Zinae Garrett, and his grandfather, Umar Weatherbe.He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Shacorra Singleton; step-father, Ibn Singleton; father, Freddie Mims; grandmothers, Roxanna Garrett and Rita Mims; grandfather, Freddie Lott; great-grandmothers, Doris Garrett and Gladys Mims; sisters, E'nyelah, Ah'zhuri, Nye'lani, and Ja'ziyyah; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.Though his time on earth was far too short, Enai’s love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.Forever Loved. Forever Remembered.When He intends a thing, His command is only to say to it, 'Be', and it is.So glory be to the One in whose Hand is the dominion of all things, and Him you will be returned.
